Simple Gifts Community Garden:

Fall Gardening is cool and neat! Those adjectives sound trite, but they actually are true in more specific ways. Of course the weather is getting cooler and that’s a lovely change after the upper 90’s of the summer. The garden also looks neater as we pull out the jungle of summer crops and plant kale, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, beets, onions, garlic and many more cool season crops. Please join us any Saturday morning 8 a.m. – Noon or Tuesday evening 5 – 7 p.m. from now until Thanksgiving to help put fresh, nutritious veggies on the food bank shelves. You’ll meet our wonderful garden family and enjoy God’s creation and the joy of giving.
