- Adventure Kids Training:
This year's theme is ASCEND: the motion of moving upward while using specific tools to climb to greater heights. - Stephen Ministry Training:
Do you want to help someone who is hurting due to tough life circumstances—job loss, death of a loved one, divorce, health problems, broken friendship, or someone who just needs to be heard? Open your heart to the commitment to become a Stephen Minister. A 50-hour training class begins Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. There will be an information session on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. - Youth Choir Kick-Off:
Join us on Sunday, Aug. 24 for our first rehearsal and meet the director and youth (grades 6-12) involved. - Charge Conference:
A charge conference will be held on Monday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. in DC 407 to vote on an application for refinancing our existing debt with the United Methodist Development Fund (UMDF). All Administrative Council members are asked to attend to vote on the approval of this application.
- Fall Kickoff:
On Sunday, Sept. 7, our Family of Faith Communities will have special Fall Kickoff events at each of our campuses! At Apex, we will have two worship services (one traditional and one contemporary) at 10:00, followed by food trucks, games and a TREASURE HUNT with giveaways! Food is expected to cost between $5 to $7 per person.

- Neighbors Helping Neighbors Concert:
Bring a chair and come out to hear the Peak City Blues Project at this annual charity concert, hosted by The Peak and benefitting Western Wake Crisis Ministry. We hope to see you on Friday, Oct. 3, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Apex Depot. Concessions will be available.
- Jobs For Life Class in Apex this Fall:
Open to anyone seeking employment or looking to improve their employment options. Centered on the Bible, the course covers lessons learned from the lives of Joseph, David and Ruth, the teachings of Jesus' parables, and examples of real-world heroes. It also equips students with core work readiness skills. Every JfL student has a mentor who provides support during training and once the student is employed. Hosted by Western Wake Crisis Ministry, the JfL class will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 29-Nov. 19, from 6-7:30 p.m. in DC 403.
